I'm originally from Georgia! I was born and raised around Atlanta, but I now call San Diego, CA my home base where I live with my husband! However, I spend a good amount of time traveling and as a military spouse we are always ready for the next adventure. So home is where ever I can connect to wifi.
I got married on 12/31/23, yes, New Year's Eve! This photo is me on my wedding day!!
It was so much fun and I LOVE a holiday wedding. I took my husband Ethan's last name, Brownlee. And I talk about my husband quite a bit because well, marriage is great and he is amazing.
We are members of a local presbyterian church and our faith is very important to us. I believe that marriage is one of the most important decisions you can make and am always honored when I get to be a witness to your union.

I love Exploring
While I appreciate bold architecture, I also have a deep connection to nature.
Whether it's a lush garden, a serene beach, or a majestic mountain backdrop, I always finds ways to incorporate the beauty of the outdoors into my photography.
Fun fact: My husband proposed in Yosemite. I love to know where your proposal took place!!
We also honeymooned in Patagonia (That's us on a glacier)! So if thats your vibe, I have recommendations.
When I am not behind the camera, you'll find me:

- Or maybe you'll find me on my daily walk enjoying the San Diego sunshine
On the other side of things, I love to explore cities. Whenever I travel I am on foot, walking around, wandering the streets. I have my camera in hand, but I am getting a feel for the culture.
I love the serene quiet nature trips, but also the busy rush of a big city.
Traveling allows me to experience new cultures and I love that wedding photography is a way to do that. Even if I am not traveling out of San Diego, I get to experience unique cultures at weddings. Ps. I'm a huge fan of traditions, but I also love creating new ones with my couples.

My approach to Photography
I knew that I wanted to be behind the camera from a young age which is why I decided to get a degree in photography. With that said, I personally get inspiration from all types of images, and I embrace the diversity in my approach. When you work with me you will get the crisp frame worthy photos for mom and you'll get the edgy photos for the gram. We are making art together, and art is supposed to be fun. I like to play when I'm behind the camera, but if I had to categorize my work this is how I would do so.
Frame Worthy
Everyone wants those timeless shots. The perfect family photo for the mantle or the classic cap and gown portrait to gift to the grandparents. AND THE DETAILS! Everyone wants the gorgeous photos documenting the smallest creations from your day. You'll get these images and they will be beautiful.
The in between
These images usually come right before or after we get "the shot". These in between moments are almost better than the staged ones. These images capture the raw emotion from your celebration. I am always snapping photos from the day to capture these types of documentary style images.
For the gram
I love playing with grain, blur, motion, and focus to create unique images. And my favorite.... the occassional GIF! I'm always looking for a good gif moment. These shots will look amazing on your feed but also make great statement pieces in your home. Got a specific idea in mind you want to make happen?
