A Sweet San Diego Courthouse Wedding Followed by an Intimate Dinner Reception:
Kristin & Lisam’s San Diego courthouse wedding was one of those rare days that felt both intimate and deeply significant. The couple said “I do” at the Bayfront Courthouse, surrounded by their closest friends and family—including many who traveled just to witness this moment. While Kristin’s father, who introduced the two, has sadly passed, his presence was felt throughout the day.
Lisam moved all the way from the Philippines to be with Kristin, and their gratitude and love for one another shone in every interaction. After the ceremony, guests gathered again for a warm, laughter-filled dinner reception—complete with a cake cutting and a surprise video montage edited by the groom in just three hours between events (yes, you read that right).
As a San Diego wedding photographer, moments like these remind me why I do what I do: to preserve not just the beauty of the day, but the soul behind it.
