What started as a "normal" Thursday evening ended with a surprise proposal on Coronado Beach.
Since the Hotel del Coronado is one of Miranda and Carley's favorite after-work spots, it was the perfect place to ask one of life's biggest questions. As they strolled along the shoreline, Miranda got down on one knee while I quietly hid among the dunes with my camera, ready to capture every genuine reaction. Moments later, friends and family emerged from the dunes to celebrate, turning an intimate proposal into an unforgettable evening filled with happy tears, hugs, and excitement.

What started as a cloudy evening turned into one of the most unforgettable sunsets I've ever photographed in Coronado. Just before the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky exploded with incredible color, creating the perfect backdrop for this laid-back session.
Coronado is one of my favorite locations for dog-friendly photo sessions because it's just a short walk from Coronado Dog Beach. That means we can capture beautiful portraits before letting your pup run free, play in the waves, and become part of the story. Mac definitely made the most of it.
Ellie & Alex
Alex wanted the proposal to feel completely natural, and Coronado Beach made the perfect setting. Since he lives in Coronado, an evening walk along the shoreline didn't raise any suspicions, making the surprise even sweeter when he got down on one knee.
After the proposal, the celebration continued with a cozy beach picnic and bonfire that friends had secretly planned. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable Coronado proposal, surrounded by the people they love most.

Although they call Imperial Beach home, Coronado is where their story began. Before celebrating with family and friends at their Little Italy wedding, they returned to the beach where they first met for a private first look and to exchange personal vows.
Afterward, we explored Coronado Beach for wedding party photos and romantic portraits. Even on a bright July afternoon, the soft coastal light and peaceful shoreline created a beautiful backdrop, proving that you don't have to wait for sunset to create timeless wedding photos in Coronado.

Linda and Raphi exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends and family in the dunes of Coronado Beach before exploring the shoreline and the iconic Hotel del Coronado for their wedding portraits.
